Privacy policy

Effective 6 September 2026 (first version 30 August 2026) · applies to warroom.earth and the WARROOM iOS app
The short version: there are no accounts, no profiles, no ads and no tracking. The iOS app collects nothing about you and sends nothing about you anywhere. The website counts its visitors in aggregate, without cookies.

The iOS app

The app has no sign-up and no login. It does not collect, store or transmit your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers or anything else about you or your device.

To show current events, the app downloads the same public data feed this website serves. That request carries no account, no identifier and no location — it is the same anonymous request your browser makes when it opens this site, and it appears in standard server logs the same way (IP address and time, kept briefly for operations and security, used for nothing else).

Alert rules — which theaters you follow, your severity threshold, quiet hours — are stored on your device and evaluated on your device. They are never uploaded.

If push notifications become available and you enable them, Apple issues an anonymous device token used only to deliver alerts to your device. It is not linked to your identity, is never used for anything else, and is discarded if you disable notifications.

The website

warroom.earth uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate — a cookieless measurement that does not identify you, does not follow you across sites, and stores no advertising identifiers. There are no third-party ads and no social-media trackers.

The app's globe tab loads this website in app mode, and app mode never loads the analytics script — so opening the globe inside the app sends no page-view measurement at all.

What we would never do

No selling of data (there is none to sell), no ad targeting, no fingerprinting, no data brokers.

Retention, deletion and consent

Neither the app nor the website holds any record about you, so there is nothing to export or delete. The only data that exists at all is the hosting provider's standard server log (IP address and time of a request), kept briefly for operations and security and then discarded, and the website's aggregate page-view count, which contains nothing that identifies you. The website's measurement is cookieless and needs no consent to withdraw; the app sends no measurement at all.
